Will participants have to pay additional income taxes from participating in the trip? What will they be if so?

No they will not.

Will we be able to either (obviously lodging/other expenses not covered for extra days) - If so, what will budget/general restrictions be?

You are able to extend your trip. Please email reservationslc@velasresorts.com and copy Preet Saini.

  • You can fly into Cabo early, but you will have to coordinate travel. If you are extending at Grand Velas, let Preet know and we will get travel coordinated for you.

  • If you are extending at a different resort, you will need to coordinate transportation to the resort from the airport, and then to Grand Velas on your own. We do not recommend this option due to safety reasons. We highly recommend that you extend at Grand Velas.

  • You can depart from any airport. However, you must land in SJD for security reasons.

  • You can also fly from SJD to whatever US airport when the trip is over. It does not need to be your home office.

Will we be able to bring infants or small children?

Plus one’s must be 18 years or older.

What if we’re unable to attend due to conflicts on these dates? Are there vouchers available?

There are no vouchers available.

Are there any activities that are arranged by DOORDASH? ( team welcome dinner etc?)

Yes, there is an organized event every night starting around 6pm. More details to be shared on the Itinerary link on this website.

Will we have options to book our own tour / activities?

Yes, you will. These will however be out of pocket expenses for attendees.

What is the general schedule of events (i.e how much planned activities vs optional activities vs free time?)

  • The full trip itinerary will be shared on this website when ready, and also communicated at the last office hours in May.

  • For the most part, every day until 6pm is free time. Attending DD events is not mandatory, so you could choose to spend the 3 day trip as free time!

Can we expense uber /  lyft or transport to and from Airport etc - what budget do we use (Brex)?

Yes. Travel and Expense.

Can meals be expensed during this time or do we have to stay and eat at the restaurant?

This is an all inclusive resort.

Fly into SJD? (Los Cabos International Airport)

Yes.

Will there be transport arranged for us to the Hotel?

Yes.

Are tickets eligible for upgrade? Paying O.O.P for the upgrade difference?

As long as you upgrade at the airport and pay out of pocket.

Do we expense through Brex?  Do we charge to our Brex card?

Yes.

Will we have to take PTO days for the trip - or do we still log hours? 

You do not need to log hours. PTO will be added into Workday for all hourly employees.

My wife had to send in her passport as she is in the process of changing her name.  We just got tracking info and it is supposed to arrive between April 15-April 30. If we need to wait until then to book, is that okay?
